The Garaway Education Foundation is passionate about helping students pursue higher education opportunities.
The GEF was formed during the 2004-2005 school year by a group of concerned graduates, parents, ad citizens. This group believed that the Foundation should exist to support the activities of the Garaway Local School System in providing excellent educational programs and opportunities along with maintaining the historical documentation of the Garaway Community Family.

2022/2023 Teacher Grants Awarded
The Teacher Grant program supports the Foundation's basic objective of recognizing and encouraging outstanding classroom teachers within Garaway Schools. This year $4,300 was divided among nine applicants granting funds for the following:
- ACT Prep Workbooks
- Educational Field Trips
- A Play Center
- Writing Tablets and Technology Equipment
- Cutting tools for Routing Machine
- Structure and Materials Tester
