Ellie Zumbach graduated from Malone University with a degree in Creative Writing. She also extensively studied theatre and is now working with Blue Gate Musicals as an actor at the Ohio Star Theatre in Sugarcreek, Ohio. She spent most of her senior year writing the book and lyrics to her first full-length original musical called A Mess of Flowers that premiered in March 2019. Ellie received the Jerry & Laura Jacobson Scholarship in 2015.
Ashlie Landis Yoder graduated from Kent State Tuscarawas with a degree in Veterinary Technology. She is currently employed as the Registered Veterinary Technician at the Tuscarawas County Humane Society. Ashlie was a 2015 recipient of the GEF Sugarcreek Rotary Scholarship. Congratulations Ashlie!
Logan Erb received an Associate’s Degree in Livestock Science and a Bachelor’s Degree in Animal Science from the Ohio State University. Katie Wright attended Kent State University of Tuscarawas and received an Associate’s Degree of Applied Science in Nursing. She was inducted into the Alpha Delta Nu Nursing Honors Society and is an active member of the Nursing Club as Secretary of her class. Katie is currently work at Aultman Hospital as an R.N. and plans to obtain her bachelor’s degree to become a Nurse Practitioner. Katie received the First Federal Bank Scholarship in 2015.

Brandi Alexander, recipient of the GEF Brown Family Scholarship in 2015, attended Duquesne University in Pittsburgh, PA. Brandi graduated in May of 2019 with a bachelor’s degree in Sociology with a concentration in Criminology, and minored in Psychology, Philosophy, and English. She’s currently taking a gap year to decide on a direction for graduate school. Her career passions would take her in one of two directions, to become a prosecuting attorney or to become a military Psychiatrist. Best wishes to you Brandi as you make your decision!
